School data, explained clearly.

School Master is a multi-school ERP. Each school controls its own operational data, authorized staff access, parent-child links and optional provider configuration.

Data the system may process

Depending on enabled modules, School Master can process student and guardian details, staff records, attendance, fees and receipts, expenses, academic results, parent requests, communications, documents, transport/library records, audit activity and account/session information.

Why the data is used

Data is used to operate authorized school workflows, dashboards, reports, parent services, accounting and academic records, security/audit controls, backup/sync functions and school-requested communication or payment workflows.

Access is school-scoped

Customer-school data is tenant-scoped. Staff access is controlled by role, permission and optional class/division scope. Parent access is separate from staff access and is limited to explicitly linked active children after verified sign-in.

Parent actions

The Parent Portal is not staff ERP access. Parents can view linked-child information and, where the school enables it, submit approved workflows such as leave requests, PTM requests, consent, pickup or payment-reference claims. School-side controls remain authoritative.

Hybrid offline data

An enrolled school PC can keep a local SQLite copy of supported operational data for offline work. The device enrollment token is protected locally, sync remains tenant-scoped, and cloud-authoritative users, permissions and subscription edition cannot be elevated from the local PC.

External providers

Some optional features rely on third parties chosen/configured by the school or platform owner, such as Google sign-in, email OTP, Meta WhatsApp Cloud API and Razorpay. Integration code alone does not make a provider active; required credentials and provider approval/setup must exist.

Advertising on public content

School Master may use Google AdSense on selected public informational pages. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar storage to serve and measure ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this site or other sites. Google's advertising cookies can allow Google and its partners to show ads based on visits to School Master and other websites.

Advertising choices and consent

Visitors can manage or opt out of personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings. Where consent is legally required, the applicable consent choices must be collected before personalized advertising is enabled. School Master does not intentionally place AdSense units inside private ERP modules, parent-only services, login/signup flows, admin/control-room screens or private communications.

Backups and sensitive data

School Master includes tenant-scoped backup/restore and local-device backup workflows. Portable logical cloud backups intentionally exclude password hashes, database credentials, browser-session secrets and one-time QR secrets. Local device backups should be stored securely by the school.

Corrections and requests

For student, parent, staff or school-record corrections, contact the school administration that manages the School Master workspace. The school is best placed to verify identity and the authoritative record before a change is made.

Important: School Master does not guess missing official school records. GR numbers, sections, financial references, staff identities and similar authoritative values should be verified by each school before production import or correction.
